There is a bit of a debate going on amongst Chelsea fans right now after the emergence of Academy graduate, Trevoh Chalobah.
Arguably he has had the best pre-season of any Chelsea player and he has played the most minutes.

Whilst everyone expected him to be loaned out again this season, he has actually now given Thomas Tuchel a very welcome headache ahead of the new season, as the Blues boss is now debating whether to keep him in the squad.
Not only has he shown great quality and that he is more than good enough to be in this squad, he also has a great mentality, something that Tuchel really enjoys.
He can play at the back or in midfield, giving Tuchel more cover options in his squad.
However, Chelsea are still heavily linked with signing Jules Kounde, who is also a top quality young player. But you’d suspect as things stand, if Kounde came in, then Chalobah would be loaned out.
We asked Chelsea fans their thoughts on this and to make a decision that if this was the case, would you rather keep Chalobah in the squad, or would you rather sign Kounde?
We ran a poll and got about 2,500 votes, and the decision from these Chelsea fans were actually clearer than I expected it to be. I was expecting about a 50/50 split, because that is pretty much where I am on this subject right now.
However, a massive 77.5% of these voters said they’d rather we kept Chalobah than signed Kounde and loaned Chalobah.
Trevoh Chalobah has got everyone talking. If Chelsea signed Jules Kounde without selling any more defenders than Zouma, that would suggest Chalobah going on loan.

Many people saying keep both, but for me, if you want Chalobah to develop and play regular football, then he wouldn’t be getting that under those circumstances.
He needs to play to develop now at this age, it is crucial for him.
