Manchester City are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to Eurosport.

City are reportedly about to lose Ferran Torres to Barcelona.

According to the report, the defending Premier League champions do not plan to sign a direct replacement for the Spaniard in the January transfer window.

However, City are considering Tottenham star Kane among other strikers when they do decide to bring in a new striker.

City manager Pep Guardiola himself said in August 2021 that he wanted to sign Kane from Spurs in the summer of 2021.

Erling Haaland and Alvaro Odriozola are the other two strikers on the radar of City, according to Eurosport.

Could Harry Kane to Manchester City happen?

In our opinion, it is unlikely that Tottenham will sell Kane in the middle of the season.

We do not think that Spurs will let go of the 28-year-old England international in the January transfer window.

After all, Kane is a key figure in the team and is now starting to gel under head coach Antonio Conte.

What about the summer of 2022?

Well, we saw in the summer of 2021 that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy does not sell his players until and unless he is entirely happy with the money on offer.
