Fabrizio Romano has claimed on the Here We Go Podcast that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jules Kounde from Sevilla in the summer transfer window. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Tottenham have been in contact with the agents of the 22-year-old France international central defender.
Romano said on the Here We Go Podcast : “Remember also about Kounde. Kounde from Sevilla could be an opportunity.
“Manchester United have his name in the list, but Tottenham are also considering Kounde and have been in contact with his agents, so for sure Tottenham will do something in the defence in the right-back, centre-back position.”
Kounde has been on the books of Sevilla since 2019 and has established himself as an important player for the Spanish club. The 22-year-old centre-back made 33 starts and one substitute appearance in La Liga and made six starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League last season.
