“After a difficult past couple of years, we are looking forward to an exciting summer filled with celebration around the 75th Anniversary of the Little League Baseball World Series, the return of all seven World Series events, and most importantly, the opportunity to have children back out on the Little League field in communities all around the world,” said Liz DiLullo Brown, Little League Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “We hope this year’s Photo Contest allows our local leagues a chance to show off their Little League pride, from proudly displaying their new patches to exemplifying the sportsmanship on and off the field that makes this organization so special. We look forward to seeing all of this year’s inspiring photos and encourage everyone to join us in this celebration.”
While there is no specific theme for the 2022 Photo Contest, nominees are encouraged to show the many ways they are celebrating the Little League program this year in their communities. As the world gets ready to celebrate the 75th LLBWS this year, think about ways to show off how you can “Live Your Series” right at home at your local Little League field. Put your new Little League patch on display and show off your team’s uniform from this season. Most importantly, show off the incredible smiles, thrilling high-fives, and the magical moments that make the Little League experience so special.
Over the course of the summer, Little League International will choose select photos from the Photo Contest and share those stories across its official social media platforms (@LittleLeague) and on its website. After the conclusion of the contest on August 1, Little League International’s staff will work to identify the top photos from the contest and conduct a vote to determine a the top three to be featured on Little League’s official social media platforms (@LittleLeague) as well as posted in the World of Little League Museum with previous honorees of Little League’s various photo contests.
