The Port Huron Northern girls golf team finished second in its Division 2 regional Thursday at Farmington Hills Golf Club, advancing to the MHSAA state finals for the third season in a row.
The Huskies shot a team score of 367, 14 strokes back of winner Farmington Hills Mercy (353). Grosse Pointe South (383) grabbed the final team spot.
Senior Madison Bajis finished second individually, carding an 81. Fellow seniors Lucy Harris and Maddy Hemby shot 93s to finish tied for ninth, while sophomore Molly Rossow shot a 100 and freshman Sophie Harris 101 to round out the Northern scoring.
The D2 state finals will take place Oct. 15-16 Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek.

Division 3
Marysville senior Addison Wallace qualified for the D3 state finals as an individual, shooting a 91 on Wednesday at Pontiac Country Club in Waterford Township to grab the third and final spot.
In the team competition, Armada finished seventh (478) St. Clair eighth (490) and Imlay City 10th.
The D3 finals will take place Oct. 15-16 at Forest Akers West in East Lansing.
Division 4
Almont finished third, shooting a 449, to take the final team spot at the state finals in a D4 regional at Washtenaw Golf Club in Ypsilanti.
Sophomore Jesse Kautz led Almont with an 87, finishing third individually. Rounding out the Raider scoring were Bella Moussiaux (107), Tara Garabedian (122), Olivia Kotelnicki (133) and Autumn Bletch (137).
Ann Arbor Greenhills (371) and Royal Oak Shrine Catholic (379) finished first and second, respectively.
The D4 finals will take place Oct. 15-16 at Forest Akers East in East Lansing.
