106 Garner 2021 Academic All-Big 12 Golf Team Recognition

A total of 106 student-athletes are honored on the 2021 Academic All-Big 12 Golf Team.
 
The team is comprised of 56 men’s golf honorees (47 first team and nine second team), along with 50 women’s golf selections (46 first team and four second team) and has a total of 97 combined first team honorees.
 
On the men’s side, Baylor paced all teams with nine selections apiece, while Oklahoma and Texas led with seven honorees each.
 
Among those nominated, 12 were recognized with 4.00 grade point averages: Ryan Bender (Kansas State), Jake Eklund (Kansas State), Colin Kober (Baylor), Kyle Hogan (Texas Tech), Reid Isaac (Kansas State), Andrew Jones (Texas), Ferdi Mueller (Oklahoma State), Kaitlin Milligan (Oklahoma), Sandy Scott (Texas Tech), Ellen Secor (Oklahoma), Maja Stark (Oklahoma State) and Amy Taylor (Texas Tech).
 
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
 
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team’s scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence.
