Tottenham Hotspur bring Super Sunday to a close as they welcome Sheffield United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Sunday Night Football.
Should Liverpool lose at Manchester United, victory will see Tottenham climb to fifth until at least Monday evening.
Sheffield United meanwhile are already relegated but a win would boost their fading hopes of not ending this season as the wooden spoon of the campaign.

Matt Doherty could return for Tottenham after recovering from a muscle injury which has kept him out for their last five matches.
Ben Davies remains absent with a calf injury.
Sheffield Utd could welcome Sander Berge back from a lengthy hamstring injury suffered back in December, after he missed their narrow win over Brighton last weekend due to fitness concern from club doctors.
Chris Basham (knock) could also feature but Oli McBurnie (foot), Billy Sharp (muscle), Jack Robinson (foot) and Jack O’Connell (knee) remain ruled out.
Stat Attack
- Tottenham are unbeaten in three of five league meetings against Sheffield United this century (W2, D1, L2).
- Sheffield Utd have claimed just two points from four previous Premier League trips to Tottenham (D2, L2), with both losses coming as 2-0 results.
- 14 of Harry Kane’s 21 league goals for Spurs this season have been scored on his right foot.
- No teams have scored less league goals this season than Sheffield Utd, who has netted 18 goals in 33 matches.
- Tottenham lost their only previous home game this season refereed by Andre Marriner – losing 1-0 to Chelsea in early February, although Marriner coincidentally was in charge of Spurs’ win in this fixture at Bramall Lane in January.
Prediction
Having snatched a scrappy win over Southampton in their last league game, Tottenham were just atrocious in last Sunday’s Carabao Cup final with wrong tactics or desire to deliver some fight as Manchester City just dominated them with ease.
With the pressure off them now, Sheffield Utd seemed to show positive progress in their play last weekend against Brighton, especially up front with strong end product to attacks and their united defensive marking which was too tough for Brighton to topple.
On that note, I think this could be a closer game than many might expect because if the Blades can dig deep and defend well whilst clinically executing their attacks, Spurs will have a tough match on their hands but their quality should pull them through.
Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Sheffield United
