Anthony Martial is set for talks with new Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick to discuss his future ahead of a potential January transfer away from the club.
The Frenchman has struggled of late, starting just two of the club’s 18 league games so far this term, and is now believed to be pursuing a move elsewhere.
Having impressed when he first arrived in Manchester in 2015, when he scored three goals in his first two matches, Martial has struggled more recently, scoring just eight times in his last 46 club matches.
Now, he has reportedly identified Spanish side Sevilla as his preferred destination, according to Sky Sports.
The report states that the 26-year-old has also attracted interest from Barcelona and Juventus, but would prefer a move to Sevilla as he believes it would offer him the most regular game time.
It is believed that all three clubs would prefer an initial loan deal, potentially with an option-to-buy clause included.
The Frenchman has scored 79 goals for the Red Devils across all competitions, but fell out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer due to the emergence of Mason Greenwood, and has failed to regain his starting spot under Rangnick.
The player’s agent, Philippe Lamboley, had previously told Sky that the player’s wish was to leave United as soon as possible in order to seek regular game time.
It is not yet known whether or not Rangnick will be willing to let the player leave in January.
