A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations with the performance of Ben Davies in their Europa Conference League game against Vitesse.
The Welshman was making his ninth appearance of the season across all competitions with three of them coming in the group stages of the third-string European competition (via Transfermarkt).

It has been a difficult start to the 2021/22 campaign for the 28-year-old with just 120 minutes of football in the Premier League, including 90 coming on the weekend against Manchester United.
And Spurs fans flocked to Twitter to share their anger with the Welshman’s display against the Dutch outfit as the Lilywhite’s cruised to a comfortable victory.

“Ben Davies is AWFUL”
The defender has now been at Spurs since 2014 after signing from Swansea for a fee believed to be in the region of £11.39m but has seen his game time in the league dwindle over recent years (via Transfermarkt).
We are not surprised the Welshman received this reaction on Twitter given he may feel very fortunate for not giving away an early penalty in the opening minutes of the game in north London.
