St. Paul, Minn. – Playing their third game in eight days, the Portland Timbers fell 2-1 on the road to Minnesota United FC at Allianz Field on Saturday night. After striking first, Portland could not rally after conceding a pair of second-half goals. Felipe Mora scored his team-leading fourth goal of the 2021 campaign, and Dairon Asprilla recorded his first assist of the season.

In his second consecutive match scoring a goal, Mora tallied his team-leading fourth goal of the 2021 campaign, and sixth across all competitions. Notably, he’s tied for the league lead with four header goals this season. Overall, Mora has 11 goals and four assists in 29 MLS appearances for the Timbers.
