Red Bulls Fall to Minnesota United FC, 1-0, on Sunday Night

The New York Red Bulls (2-1-0, 6 pts.) fell to Minnesota United FC (1-0-2, 5 pts.), 1-0, on Sunday night at Red Bull Arena.

Minnesota opened the scoring in the 51st minute, when midfielder Hassani Dotson chipped a ball to the far post and forward Luis Amarilla volleyed the ball in the bottom left of the net.


Red Bulls midfielder Luquinhas made his MLS debut coming on as a substitute for Dylan Nealis in the 81st minute.

New York midfielder Lewis Morgan playing in his first match at Red Bull Arena as a member of the Red Bulls, amassed 5,000 minutes played in MLS.

The Red Bulls home shutout streak extending from last season on September 29, 2021, was snapped at 484 minutes.
