We are facing yet another international break right around the corner after the next round of Premier League games.
It feels like only yesterday that we had the last break, but players will be setting off with their national sides once again on Sunday.
I genuinely feel for England manager Gareth Southgate, he probably has the largest and best pool of English talent to chose from for as long as I can remember, and whoever he selects or leaves out is going to cause drama and anger.

But from a Chelsea perspective, I believe that three of our current players can feel a little aggrieved that for now at least, they have been left out of the England squad.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is probably the least deserving of the three, and that isn’t meant in a bad way. He just hasn’t really been picked regular enough by Thomas Tuchel yet to be considered. Even still, his form in recent games has been good and he should be getting a look in again soon.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been one of Chelsea’s best performers so far this season and will probably feel a little disappointed that he has been overlooked after getting himself some pretty regular minutes in Tuchel’s starting line up this season.
But the one who has a right to feel most aggrieved is Trevoh Chalobah, he absolutely deserves the nod after a great season from him so far. He’s literally gone from being a dead cert to be loaned out, to making it impossible for Tuchel to overlook him for regular minutes, which is what he has been getting.

Chalobah has been in better form than every single one of the current centre backs in the team, he should have been considered.
Well, it won’t be long before all three with be knocking down Southgate’s door and making it impossible for him to ignore them, just as they have done with Tuchel.
