Matt Targett has claimed that his Aston Villa teammate, Matty Cash, ‘would love’ to have his own Amazon documentary series.

The Villa left-back was asked by Amazon Prime Sport which one of his fellow colleagues is deserving of a series and he put forward Cash’s name.

Whilst Villa have never dipped into the ‘All or Nothing’ Amazon market, well not yet anyway, other Premier League teams have, including Tottenham and Manchester City.

It has become a popular bit of entertainment for supporters, as Arsenal of all teams are currently filming their current campaign.

Nonetheless, this is why Targett thinks his £16 million teammate (Independent) is Amazon worthy.

“I tell you who would love their own documentary,” said Targett. “Matty Cash would love a documentary about him.

“Let’s just say, he loves himself a lot.”

Take your pick in terms of which part of these last ten years at Aston Villa would have been Amazon worthy.

From being in Europe to relegation battles then falling into England’s second-tier for the first time in 27 years.

Then seemingly being owned by Tony Xia, which nearly ended in the club entering administration, before going on a club-record ten-game winning run to return to the promised land.

Staying up on the last day of a Coronavirus-hit season and then securing their status even further last term.

It has been some journey for those in the Midlands, and whilst they are without star man Jack Grealish now, it doesn’t seem as though the entertainment will end any time soon.
