Richarlison is looking to boost his chances of making Brazil’s World Cup squad by leaving Everton this summer, according to reports.

The 24-year-old joined Everton for £35m in 2018 and has made 142 appearances for the Toffees, scoring 47 goals.

His goal record this season is not impressive by any stretch of the imagination, netting five in 23 in all competitions.

Everton are in the middle of an unexpected relegation battle after falling down the table under Rafael Benitez.

Frank Lampard replaced the Spaniard in January. Richarlison is yet to score in the Premier League under the Chelsea legend’s management.

Despite his – and Everton’s – form, he has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United.

And now 90min reckon the Brazil international is ‘ready to leave’ at the end of the season as he eyes a place in Tite’s World Cup squad.

Richarlison is back with the Selecao for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers after not appearing for his country since July 2021 due to his injury problems.

The report states that the forward’s representatives have made it clear that he wants to leave Goodison Park in the summer transfer window.

As well as Premier League interest, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring his situation.

Meanwhile, Chris Sutton has warned Everton boss Frank Lampard after he questioned his side’s courage.

The Toffees were dumped out of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon after a 4-0 defeat away to Crystal Palace.

After Sunday’s defeat, Lampard questioned the courage of his players, saying: “This is a quarter-final today to get to Wembley, and if you haven’t got the confidence to play, then you can quickly flip to say have you got the b******s to play? Excuse me, but that’s the football reality.”

And Sutton has warned Lampard, claiming that his comments could have a negative effect on the dressing room.

“I wonder whether he will regret some of the things he’s said because it can be damaging within the dressing room,” he said. “It’s not a good dressing room at this time. But when you start questioning players’ courage, I think there may be a problem.”
