Yacine Adli put pen to paper at Casa Milan yesterday, joining the club on a long-term contract.
Milan took the opportunity in the summer transfer market to not only reinforce the squad for the current season, but also secure a player for next year.
The Rossoneri negotiated with Bordeaux over 21-year-old midfielder Yacine Adli for a few weeks and on the last two days of the mercato, Milan managed to get a deal done.
“Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Yacine Adli from FC Girondins de Bordeaux on a permanent basis. The footballer has signed a contract with the Rossoneri Club until 30 June 2026,” a statement on the website of Milan reads. “Adli will stay at the French club on loan for one year.
“Born in Vitry-sur-Seine (France) on 29 July 2000, Adli spent his youth career at Paris Saint-Germain, making his first team debut in 2018. In January 2019, he moved to Bordeaux, where he scored five goals in 72 appearances.”
It’s believed that Adli cost Milan around €10 million to sign. He will be the first reinforcement of the 2022 summer and the Diavolo will keep a close eye on him during his time in Bordeauxץ
