Oakland Roots Renew Partnership with Holiday Inn Hotels

Oakland, CA – Oakland Roots Sports Club, has agreed to a new, multi-year Partnership with Holiday Inn, which will remain the visiting team’s official hotel.

“Holiday Inn Airport location and its premium amenities have been very well received by our visiting teams,” said Roots Chief Revenue Officer, Steven Powell. “We look forward to working with Holiday Inn& Suites Oakland Airport and their staff to continue to make our visitors to Oakland enjoyable, off the field.”


The Oakland SC joined the United Soccer League Championship in 2021 and earned a place in the Western Conference Final in its first season in the league. Roots lost on penalty kicks to the eventual USL Champions Orange County SC.

Roots kick off their 2022 season at home to local rivals Monterey Bay SC on Saturday, March 26th
