Speaking to Bild, Bayern Munich defender Nikas Süle (26) discussed his reasoning behind agreeing to join Borussia Dortmund when his contract expires in the summer.
“From the first contact I immediately felt that those responsible at the club were very interested in working with me. Hans-Joachim Watzke, Michael Zorc, Sebastian Kehl and Marco Rose game me an impressive impression of the role that I can play at Borussia Dortmund and I had the feeling that I was wanted as a person and as a footballer,” said Süle.
“I was impressed by the way they tried to get me, so I quickly knew where I was going to play in the future.”
The Germany international will sign a four-year deal with BVB, earning around €10m/year.
