Coming off the back of an emphatic 4-2 win over Leicester City in their previous Premier League clash, Steve Bruce’s side took on Pep Guardiola’s league champions in their latest outing.
During the match, lots of Newcastle fans were not particularly pleased with what they saw from Almiron which then led to lots of Toon supporters flocking to Twitter to share just exactly what they were thinking.
So, what did these Newcastle fans have to say about Almiron’s performance against Man City?
“Almirón stealing a living as a footballer #NUFC“
“Almiron is far worse than Joelinton, hate him“
“almiron, needs to do more for me works hard but very little end product time and time again. like him too but frustrates the life out of me”
“Almiron is weak, no final product #nufc“

Yes
No
Moving forward, the 27-year-old will have to make sure he takes every opportunity he gets until the end of the season to show that he has what it takes to be a vital member of the team for Newcastle or else he could potentially see himself out of Bruce’s plans for next season.
