The Reds were jubilant in doing just that, for the first time since before the pandemic, during this afternoon’s 4-0 friendly victory over Everton.
Although we will have to wait another week to hopefully see a first triumph in front of a full Old Trafford, when Leeds United are the visitors to M16 for our Premier League opener next Saturday, a crowd of 55,000 watched our win over the Toffees from the stands at the Theatre of Dreams, and the scenes are hopefully a sign of things to come over the course of the season.
