On Thursday evening, Liverpool reached the Carabao Cup final with a 2-0 win over Arsenal, thanks to a superb brace from Diogo Jota.
After full-time, one Liverpool fanpage – called The Redmen TV – posted a photo from the first leg at Anfield, which Harvey Elliott replied to.
What’s the story?
Well, you may remember Takumi Minamino missing an open goal in the dying seconds of the 0-0 draw at Anfield.
After that blunder, Ben White – who Arsenal paid £50m for – was seen laughing at the Japan international for his mistake.
In a bad turn of events for the Gunners defender, he was given the runaround by Jota for the second goal on Thursday, and was forced to jog back helplessly as the ball trickled over the line.
As Liverpool fans tend to do, they defend their own, and that was evident once again when The Redmen TV posted a photo of White laughing at Minamino shortly after full-time on Thursday.
Hilariously, Elliott couldn’t contain his laughter at seeing White get his comeuppance – you can see his reply in full below.

Harvey Elliott doesn’t care about making friends at Liverpool
When Elliott eventually makes his way into the England squad, things might get a bit awkward.
The 18-year-old has already had to apologise for mocking Harry Kane in 2019, which landed him a 14-day ban from football (ESPN).
Now, he probably isn’t in White’s good books either, with both him and Kane set to be involved for England in the long-term.
Evidently, Elliott isn’t interested in making friends with any rival players while at Anfield – if anything, he’s provoking them.
It might make things pretty awkward on the international scene in years to come, but for now, the Liverpool fans are loving his cheekiness.
