Antonio Rudiger says he is ‘fully committed’ to Chelsea despite not signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

Rudiger’s contract with Chelsea is set to expire at end of the current season and is yet to extend his stay. The German continues to be linked with a move away from the Blues with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich monitoring his situation.

However, the 28-year-old insists he is fully focused on finishing the season strongly with Chelsea.

“Fully committed like always,” said Rudiger when asked about his current situation.

“At the end of the day, talks are between my side and the club.”

“I find it easy to do because these are not only words that I’m saying,” he responded when asked how he dealt with playing such a significant role all while balancing talks

“I’m fully committed to the cause. I think I’ve shown it because there were also bad times, much worse times than this.

“So I find it easy because I’m focusing on what’s happening on the pitch. I owe it to everyone here around the club. The coach, my teammates, my family, so that’s why I’m only focused about the important things.”

Rudiger signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2017 from Roma and has won the FA Cup, Europa League and Champions League with the Blues.
