FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas head coach Luchi Gonzalez and Homegrown Ricardo Pepi were named to MLSsoccer.com’s Team of the Week for Week 10 following the 2-1 win against Eastern Conference leaders New England Revolution on Sunday, June 27 at Toyota Stadium. This is Pepi’s first Team of the Week honor and Gonzalez’s fifth time as head coach for Team of the Week.

Pepi, 18, scored his first MLS brace and became the youngest player in FC Dallas history to score two goals at 18 years and 169 days old. Pepi’s first goal was scored in the 11th minute after connecting with a pass from Jesús Ferreira near the top of the box and firing a right-footed shot past New England’s Matt Turner. Pepi’s second goal, a game-winner, came in the 54th minute after he dribbled past two New England defenders and fired a volley past Turner to give Dallas the 2-1 lead.
Gonzalez was named head coach for MLSsoccer.com’s Team of the Week for the first time this season after being named four times during the 2019 MLS Season.
