The Mariners and the Jets lock horns for the 57th F3 Derby, and betting suggests that both sides stand some chance.
For two of the A-League’s smaller clubs, the Mariners and the Jets have both exceeded expectations early this season, and the former steps out this week fourth on the ladder, and chasing a hat-trick for the first time in a long time.
The Jets boast one of the league’s most exciting young squads, but they did suffer a disappointing defeat at the hands of Macarther most recently.
Ordinarily I would be eager to take the value on offer for the Jets, but given they are several weeks between matches, I think that the Mariners’ fitness edge will get them over the line.
