And he secured his status as a Hoops hero in part by scoring 122 goals in 198 appearances in all competitions.

While he also helped the Parkhead club win the Scottish Cup in 1985 before clinching the league title a year later.

After leaving Celtic, McClair spent 11 years at Manchester United where he went on to win four Premier League titles.

He also got his hands on two FA Cups and a League Cup, alongside the European Cup Winners’ Cup and European Super Cup.

At international level, the former striker earned 30 caps for Scotland and represented his country at Euro 92.

Since retiring as a player at Motherwell in 1998, McClair worked as the No2 at Blackburn Rovers before eventually becoming Man United’s youth academy director.

Now the host of the Life with Brian podcast, McClair looks a lot different from his days at Celtic.

Where he was known for having long brown hair and a clean shaven face, he can now be seen sporting a full grey beard on his shows.

While he also has much shorter hair these days as well.
