Ivorian Maxwel Cornet scored the winner in a monumental night at Turf Moor, in a night where the Clarets had to come from behind to get three points.
The encounter started in Burnleyâs favour, with defender Nathan Collins being unmarked at the far post, to side-foot in a Cornet corner.
The tables would turn in Evertonâs favour for the rest of the first half when Ashley Westwood was adjudged to have pulled down Toffeeâs winger Anthony Gordon in the box. Brazilian forward, Richarlison would slot the penalty past Nick Pope to level the game.
Thingâs got worse for Sean Dycheâs team, as former Toffee, Aaron Lennon caught Vitaliy Mykolenko trailing leg, and Everton had another chance from the spot. Richarlison would oblige and help his team take the lead.
The Claretâs came out firing in the second half, and started with a barrage of attacks on the Everton goal.
Burnleyâs fast start paid off in the 57th minute, when a burst from Charlie Taylor led him to beat his man, before putting in a low cross, that was on a plate for Jay Rodriguez to tap in.
The comeback was complete on the 85th minute, when Cornet took advantage of some poor errors from Jordan Pickford and Ben Godfrey to smash home a cross and send Turf Moor into raptures.

The result leaves just a point between the teams with nine games to go.
Both teams have to play clubs around them in the run-in, such as Watford, but itâs Everton, who have only one win since February, who have the harder run of fixtures, having yet to play Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
