BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) — Lucas Beltran came off the bench to score a late equalizer as Colon held hosts Boca Juniors to a 1-1 draw in Argentina’s Primera Division on Sunday.
Dario Benedetto had given Boca an ideal start when he headed home at the far post after Sebastian Villa’s perfectly executed cross.
Beltran replaced Juan Sanchez in the 72nd minute and the 20-year-old striker put the visitors on level terms shortly after by bundling home from close range, capitalizing on an ingenious Luis Rodriguez back-heel following Fucundo Farias’ corner.
Earlier, a 94th-minute strike from Gonzalo Bergessio gave Platense a 1-0 home victory over Talleres Cordoba.
In Sunday’s only other Primera Division fixture, Racing Club were hold to a goalless home draw by Gimnasia La Plata.
