Ousmane Dembele could be sanctioned after he failed to turn up to a Barcelona’s training base on Sunday.
The Barcelona squad were expected to arrive at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper to receive news of the squad for Barca’s upcoming clash with Alaves.
Dembele did not turn up, with La Blaugrana releasing an official stamen via Twitter that claimed the Frenchman had bene suffering from stomach problems: “Expected at Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this morning, first-team player, Ousmane Dembélé, was a no-show due to a stomach upset”

However, Spanish outlet AS have since ran a report which claimed that no one at the club believed Dembele and he has been told that he would be sanctioned according to the rules put in place by Xavi Hernandez.
Who would want to sign Dembele?
This is not the first time that Dembele has been in the spotlight for not following rules.
He has been late to meetings before key games, whilst his attitude has also been questioned on various occasions during his time in Catalonia.
Dembele’s horrendous injury record is also well documented at this point.
So, with his contract up in June, the question must be asked, who would actually want to sign Dembele and pay him a decent wage even if they can get him on a free?
There is obvious talent there, but it is now very much hidden under an injury-prone player who is seemingly lazy and has a problem following the rules.
