Rumours are circulating that Arsenal are looking to bring a striker in the January transfer window, with the name top of the list being somewhat underwhelming.
According to a report via the Express, Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic is being targeted by the Gunners – a striker with just two goals in 32 appearances since joining the Spanish giants.
Madrid sent Jovic out on loan last season to Frankfurt in the Bundesliga and worryingly the Serbian international struggled to just four goals in 18. These numbers will hardly convince Arsenal fans that this is the player to transform their goal scoring prowess.
If a deal is to be struck, Real Madrid would like to include a buy clause which could be around €25million. That would represent a significant loss on the €60m paid.
