Arsenal have opened the door to a sensational and feel-good return to former star midfielder Jack Wilshire, albeit just to train with the first team for fitness.
Speaking to press via the Metro, Mikel Arteta revealed that the 29-year-old free agent was always welcome back and there’s a lot of ‘love’ from the club towards the England international;
‘Someone that I know, that I shared dressing rooms with and is so loved by everyone here. Our doors are always open.’
Jack Wilshire is currently training for fitness in Italy with club side Como, ensuring he stays at peak fitness ahead of a potential contract being offered.
A return to Arsenal would certainly give Wilshire the exposure to prove his worth of a contract back in England and his presence around the training ground could prove a positive one, considering the squad look a bit low in morale after three straight Premier League losses.
