COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Fencing is fortunate to have some of the most devoted and passionate members in the entire sporting world. These are people willing to devote their time and energy — as volunteers — to help grow this sport we all love.
It’s in that spirit that USA Fencing once again invites members to apply to join a USA Fencing committee or resource group. This is your chance to help shape the sport’s future and increase your involvement in fencing.
Applications for positions for the 2022-23 season are open now, and the deadline is Aug. 22, 2022.
While time commitments per committee or resource group will vary depending on the needs of USA Fencing, volunteers should expect to attend regular committee meetings, contribute their expertise, and bring their enthusiasm and perspective to the organization.
Applications are open for the following 20 committees and resource groups:
- Audit Committee
- Budget Committee
- Election Committee
- Nominating Committee
- Ethics Committee
- Tournament Committee
- Veterans Committee
- U.S. SEMI Committee
- Hall of Fame Committee
- International Relations Committee
- Club & Member Services Resource Group
- Division Resource Group
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Resource Group
- Marketing and Communications Resource Group
- Paralympic Development Resource Group
- FenceSafe Review Group
- Sports Medicine Resource Group
- Sports Performance Resource Group
- Youth Development Resource Group
- Legal Resource Group
