Let’s break down 10 tight end sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 15
Week 15 has arrived! In addition, the playoffs will kick off in many fantasy football leagues. If you are searching for a sleeper at the tight end position, here are ten options.
10. Mo Alie-Cox, Indianapolis Colts
Rostered: 2.6%
On Wednesday, tight end Jack Doyle was added to the Colts’ injury report. He was a limited participant in practice with an ankle injury. He is currently listed as questionable for Saturday night’s game against the New England Patriots.
Doyle has established himself as the top tight end in Indianapolis. He was targeted a total of 18 times across the Colts’ past four games, while Mo Alie-Cox was only targeted six times during that span.
Nevertheless, Mo Alie-Cox will offer fantasy football owners some upside, if Doyle misses Saturday night’s game.
Earlier this season, Alie-Cox had an excellent four-game stretch, in which he had 15 receptions and four receiving touchdowns.
9. Shane Zylstra, Detroit Lions
Rostered: 0.0%
Tight end T.J. Hockenson was sidelined last week with a hand injury. His status for this week’s matchup remains unclear. However, he did not participate in the Lions’ practice on Wednesday, which is not an encouraging sign.
Last week, Shane Zylstra was called up from the Lions’ practice squad, and he played a larger role than expected. He was targeted six times in Hockenson’s absence.
If Hockenson misses Sunday’s game, Zylstra will be an intriguing option in deeper leagues.
