Aduana Stars protracted Hearts of Oak’s winless run in the Ghana Premier League after holding the Phobians to a 1-1 drawn game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Kofi Kordzi opened the scoring for the Phobians after he was played through by Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who received a pass from Salifu Ibrahim inside the box.
After playing out a pulsating 1-1 game against WAFA in Sogakope, the Phobians marched to Accra with the aim of getting their first three points of the season but were ably denied by the boys from Dormaa.
Hearts of Oak grabbed the opener courtesy of Kofi Kodzie just 9 minutes into proceedings but Aduana Stars equalized in the 79th minute from the spot through Bright Adjei to share the spoils after 90 minutes.
The Phobians have accumulated just three points from a possible nine as they prepare to visit the Len Clay sports stadium to face AshGold next weekend.
