Aduana Stars life patron Nana Dormaahene was a chairman of Hearts of Oak’s supporters group

A former Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee deputy organiser Mohammed Alhassan has revealed that Aduana Stars life patron and bankroller Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II was once a supporters leader at Hearts of Oak.

The High Court judge, who is known in his private life as Justice Daniel Mensah, was enstooled on June 7, 1999, as the paramount chief of the Dormaa Traditional Area.

Since his enstoolment as chief of the Dormaa Traditional Area, he assumed the position of a life patron and bankroller of the Dormaa-based side who have rivaled the Phobians on a number of occasions for the league title.

But, a staunch Hearts of Oak fan and a former deputy national organiser for the teeming supporters of the club Mohammed Alhassan has shed light on the role the then young supporter played within the club.

“Nana Agyemang Badu was chairman of Chapter 51. He used to come to the stadium to man the gate for the club. I was the deputy national organiser for the chapters of the club back then. You can verify this from him,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show.

Hearts are currently competing in the CAF Confederation Cup after dropping from the Champions League following an historic defeat to Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club.
