Man Utd youngster Facundo Pellistri is yet to make “himself useful” on loan for Spanish side Deportivo Alaves this season, according to reports.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side spent around £8.5m to sign the youngster last October. They brought him to the Premier League from Uruguay-based side Penarol.
Pellistri is yet to make his senior debut for Man Utd as he instead joined their academy when his transfer was completed.

Last year, Edinson Cavani insisted that he admires the way the youngster plays:
“Pellistri is a young lad and I really love the way he plays the game,” Cavani said.
“He’s the typical South American footballer who has that mischievous nature to his game, and the way he lives his football is a bit like, as we say in Uruguay, being on ‘el campito’, as we call it, a makeshift pitch where you have a kickabout for fun with your mates or whoever.
He added: “Learning his trade here is also going to be a great experience for him. So, it’s going to be good meeting up with him and travelling together on this journey in this new chapter for us both.”
The winger spent the final portion of last season on loan at Deportivo Alaves in La Liga. He re-joined the Spanish side this summer.
As cited by The Mirror, Spanish outlet Noticias de Alava have suggested that the 19-year-old has “not yet made himself useful” for Alaves. He is yet to register a goal or an assist for them from his 19 league outings.
Elsewhere, Chris Sutton has suggested that Manchester United are not in the race for the Premier League title this season.
Heading into the international break, the Red Devils sit fourth in the English top flight. They have four wins, two draws and a defeat from their seven games.
They are out of form though as they have only won one of their last four games across all competitions. This came via Cristiano Ronaldo’s last-minute winner against Villarreal in the Champions League group stages.
Sutton said: “It’s a three-horse race in my book, between Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.
“Had Man City signed a striker in the summer, they’d probably have walked this Premier League. Blindfolds and cigarettes may as well have been handed out to their rivals.
“But the fact that Manchester City did not get themselves a [Romelu] Lukaku is where it gets interesting.
“Chelsea did and they are completely in this race. As are Liverpool with Salah, Mane and Jota singing from the same hymn sheet.
“But I don’t consider United to be title contenders this season. They’re guaranteed goals from [Cristiano] Ronaldo but concede too many and Solskjaer still hasn’t got his tactics right.”
