“On behalf of Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR), I ask you to join us at the 10th Annual CISDR Golf Tournament on Monday, September 27, at the Hackberry Creek Country Club in Irving. This tournament is the largest fundraising event for the organization with a goal to raise $200,000 in 2021. A day spent on the golf course helps CISDR reach more students, many of whom need CISDR’s services now more than ever.
“The mission of CISDR is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. In partnership with local school districts, CISDR provides daily school-based interventions to students in grades K-12 to address academic failure, truancy, behavioral issues, social service needs and more. CISDR staff is working on over 130 campuses across 14 school districts to help students improve grades, test scores, behavioral issues, and attendance, as well as resolve basic needs.

“The 2021 tournament will be an 18-hole scramble format and will take necessary COVID-19 precautions including a drive-thru registration for the tournament. Players’ carts will pre-loaded with box lunches and gift bags. The tournament will conclude with a golf cart “drive-in” banquet dinner and an app-based silent auction.
“Our goal in this tenth year is to raise an additional $10,000, which is only possible with your support. Opportunities include sponsoring a student for one year at $500, one semester at $250 or buying school supplies at $100. Sponsorships are available at Platinum through Bronze levels, as well as promotional opportunities. Information regarding our Sponsor Party will be available by late August.
