Up until now, the Smackdown Women’s Championship is still slated to be defended at Crown Jewel in a triple threat match featuring Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks, and the current WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch.
In a perfect world, the triple threat match stays a triple threat.
The Boss recaptures the Smackdown Women’s Title and resumes feuding with her long-time, arch-nemesis, Charlotte Flair. The two would go on to add a number of 5-star, match of the year candidate-worthy classics to their collection.
Meanwhile, on Raw, the rivalry between The EST and The Man would more than likely culminate in one final blowoff match between the two for the Raw Women’s Championship. No outside interference, no fly-by-night shenanigans, and no buffoonery; just Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair duking it out for the title.
What I’m selling you might sound might legit, but you and I both know this isn’t a perfect world and sometimes things don’t always go down the way you perceive they should. Sometimes, this is for the better, in other cases, not so much.

With that being said, I must ask the question. Will Charlotte Flair get added to the triple threat match at WWE’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view event?
The Queen’s been a huge part of the build-up between Lynch, Banks, and Belair. Despite this, the match is not being promoted as a fatal 4 way.
While Flair’s involvement doesn’t automatically mean she’s going to get shoehorned into the match, it isn’t like this wouldn’t be the first time that sort of thing happened. If you recall the Ronda Rousey/Becky Lynch build-up to WrestleMania 35, you’ll catch my drift.
Forcing Flair into the WrestleMania 35 main event drew a fair amount of criticism, as you may remember. Add the fact that she defeated then Smackdown Women’s Champion, Asuka for the title unexpectedly in the coming weeks leading up to the match, and that criticism was amplified tenfold
When the time comes for Charlotte Flair to hang up the boots and call it quits, there’s no question she’ll always be able to stake the claim that she was one of the best to ever step foot in a wrestling ring. There’s no way anyone can take that away from her.
This doesn’t mean she needs to be added to almost every big-time, history-making match in the women’s division for this to ring true.
