First, Chase Owens won the provisional King of Pro Wrestling 2021 title in a 22-man New Japan Ranbo. Owens eliminated former winner Toru Yano after hitting a package piledriver to win the match and the title.

Robbie Eagles defeated El Desperado to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship for the first time. Eagles beat Desperado after locking in the Ron Miller Special.
