Ric Flair has reportedly requested and received his release from WWE.
Several wrestling news sites have reported that Ric Flair has been granted his release from WWE.
Flair went on record in 2020 to say he had re-signed with the company, saying he would stay with WWE forever.
He also said he wouldn’t have signed for another company if he wasn’t with WWE. No reason has been given for his recent release request.
Flair had most recently been managing Lacey Evans as part of a feud with daughter Charlotte Flair. Evans announced she was pregnant in February 2020 which saw Flair taken off WWE television.
