NXT 2.0 Superstar Troy “Two Dimes” Donovan reportedly released due to a policy issue

According to reports by F4WOnline and Fightful, Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donavan (real name Cole McKinney) was released from WWE on Saturday due to a policy issue.

The reports note that this was not a budget or creative decision, but a policy issue. It is also being said that Donavan was told he may be brought back in a year. As of this writing there is no word on what the policy issue is.

Donovan had recently been introduced on NXT 2.0 along with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo as associates of Tony D’Angelo.

Prior to signing with WWE this past March, Donavan wrestled on the the independent scene, under the name Cole Karter. He also made appearances on several episodes of AEW Dark and Dark Elevation.
