Nikki A.S.H. pins Charlotte Flair in No Holds Barred main event; Ripley defeats Jax

For the third week in a row, the women of the RAW brand main evented the show. This time, RAW Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. faced Charlotte Flair in a No Holds Barred Match. Nikki demanded to have this match directly after she lost to Flair last week.

Flair is still reeling that she was cashed in on three weeks ago by Nikki on the RAW after Money in the Bank. In fact, she is determined to never be cashed in on again as she has been three times. She set out to prove this by her determination to defeat Nikki tonight and teaching her a lesson for winning the title in a cowardly way.

Despite Flair dominating many parts of the match including putting Nikki through the announce table, she wasn’t able to keep the champion down. A miscalculation from The Queen landed her head first into a table that was set up in the corner of the ring as she went for a spear but Nikki moved just in time. Nikki hit The Purge off the ropes to get the three count on Flair to pick up the win. Nikki gripped the championship belt after her win before celebrating with the crowd.

During the match, Rhea Ripley watched closely backstage. These three will be facing each other for the RAW Women’s Title in a Triple Threat at SummerSlam on Aug. 21.

Speaking of Ripley, she faced Nia Jax one-on-one earlier in the night. This was actually the first time these two clashed in the ring in a singles match. At one point in the bout, Jax received a cut to her left eye which made her bleed on the left side of her face throughout the rest of the match.

Coming off a near fall for Ripley after she delivered a drop kick, The Nightmare went for the Riptide on Jax. Shayna Baszler would hop on the apron but this distraction ended up costing Jax the match after a roll up.

Post match, dissention seemed to set in between Jax and Baszler. Baszler walked away before things got physical between the two, but Ripley wasn’t done and delivered the riptide to Jax ending the segment.

A third women’s match took place on this week’s RAW which saw Tamina pick up a win against Doudrop. After Natalya suffered an injury to her ankle last week that has resulted in surgery, Tamina had to head to the ring by herself representing the tag team championships.

Tamina got the win after Doudrop missed a crossbody which set her up for a Samoan Drop. After the match, Alexa Bliss appeared on the screen with Lilly and announced that the winner of the match was NOT Eva Marie. This was mocking Eva who normally takes credit for Doudrop getting the wins Eva taking the credit.

A segment took place later in the night with Alexa’s Playground. Doudrop knocked down Bliss from her swing and Eva Marie threw down Lilly. After Eva and Doudrop left, Lilly would get up all by herself.
