CM Punk has returned to pro wrestling and is a part of AEW.
Punk made his debut on AEW Rampage in his home city of Chicago, Illinois after a seven and a half year absence from pro wrestling.

An emotional Punk came out to his famous “Cult of Personality” entrance music as the largest crowd in AEW history went bananas for the former world champion.

Punk thanked the fans for being patient, apologised to anyone who had been let down by his choices in the past and went on to say he left professional wrestling after leaving Ring of Honor in 2005.
Punk challenged Darby Allin to a match at the All Out pay-per-view on Sunday, September 5th.
