Bray Wyatt Released By WWE » TWNP-Wrestling News

Bray Wyatt has been released by WWE.

The surprising news broke yesterday (July 31) that ‘The FIEND’ Bray Wyatt had been released by the company.

The news was initially broken by WWE in a tweet that was then deleted, before being posted again some time later.

It was later reported that WWE cited budget cuts as the reason for the release, with Wyatt expected to make a return later this month.

34-year-old Wyatt had been with WWE since 2009, first appearing as Husky Harris in NXT and as part of Nexus in WWE. He was later re-packaged as Wyatt in NXT, then WWE in 2013. Wyatt debuted The Fiend in 2013.

Wyatt, the son of Mike Rotunda is a former WWE Champion, two-tine Universal Champion aswell as a former Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champion.
