Big E is planning to have a special night on WWE Monday Night Raw as he has made it known that he will cash in his Money In The Bank contract.
It was first reported by Fightful today that Big E would be appearing on this show. After that report came out, the SmackDown star announced on Twitter that not only would he be on Raw, but plans to cash in the contract to become WWE Champion.
Bobby Lashley is slated to defend the top championship on Raw against Randy Orton. Big E wrote the following:
Let’s let that cat out of the bag…I intend on cashing in my Money in the Bank contract tonight and cashing in to become WWE Champion.

WWE has loaded up this show with several matches announced in advance for two reasons. The first being that this is Vince McMahon responding to last week’s AEW Dynamite beating Raw in the key 18-49 demo for the first time ever as this demo is what is most important to advertisers.
Originally, the top match on Raw was supposed to be Lashley and MVP getting a Raw Tag Team Title shot against Orton and Matt Riddle (RKBro). Instead, they moved the WWE Title match from Extreme Rules to Raw.
Also, WWE typically loads up Raw on the first week that they go up against Monday Night Football, which features a game between the Ravens and Raiders. Overnight NFL ratings were way up on Sunday as fans were back in the stands and this game tonight is expected to continue that trend.
