Postseason WNIT 64-team field announced

The Postseason WNIT field includes 64 teams, a mix of Power 5 programs, and notable mid-majors. Autoqualifers to the tournament include 30 teams that were the next-highest finishers in their conference’s regular season and not selected for the NCAA Tournament. The remainder of the field is comprised of 34 at-large selections.

The bracket for the tournament will be released Monday, March 14.

  • Round 2 – March 19-22
  • Round 3 – March 23-26
  • Quarterfinals – March 26-28
  • Semifinals – March 30-31
  • Championship – Saturday, April 2 (broadcast by CBS Sports Network)
