Traditionally Absolut Park in Flachauwinkl (AUT) hosts the Spring Battle every March, this year in collaboration with the World Snowboard Federation (WSF) as umbrella organization. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the Spring Battle 2021 was run as Online Instagram Contest for invited riders with US$ 60.000 prize-money up for grabs.

Invited riders had sent in their best tricks captured on video for the following categories: Spin to Win Award, Best 540 Award, Best Rail Award as well as Best Turbo Knuckle Award. Entries got judged by experts and presented in daily online shows live. Olympic Champion Anna Gasser is the big winner of this year’s Spring Battle, as she was able to claim 3 of the 4 categories.
