Classic and electric mountain bike enthusiasts can explore the Chamonix Valley with more confidence this summer following the introduction of new signage and a dedicated bike map which can be picked up from all the tourist offices in the area
There are a large number of circuits to suit all abilities, ranging from easy fun routes, moderately difficult trails and more technical and sporty itineraries.
This is just one of the many sporting and cultural activities available in the spectacular Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.
Water sports
Water based sports include rafting and hydrospeed. Or how about canyoning, which involves jumping in water holes and slipping down natural slides?
If you are looking for a more meditative way of enjoying the water, you can also fish in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley, at the Les Gaillands and Les Chavants lakes.
Flying high

Tennis & Squash
Chamonix-Mont-Blanc tennis club provides tennis lessons and courses on the 30 courts in the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley. There is also a squash hall.
Trail running
The Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley is a popular destination for trail runners. Visit the Vallée du Trail website to find marked-out courses for all levels. The routes have been made famous by some of the best-known trail-running events such as the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc and the Mont-Blanc Marathon.
