Russia published their cross country team for the World Ski Championships held in Oberstdorf 24.2.-7.3.. The team is full of medal candidates and world cup top names.

The men´s team includes number one Aleksander Bolshunov and Sergei Ustjugov as well as five other male skiers who are in top eight in the overall world cup standings.

In the women´s team Natalia Nepryaeva, Tatyana Sorina and Yulia Stupak are the most likely medal candidates. Nepryaeva injured her hand in Falun a couple of weeks back and it´s a bit surprising that she has made it back to top form before the world champs.
