The visitors reduced the gap in the 29th minute when Vendel Vigvari scored an action goal for 9:11. The visitors had a great chance to come even closer two minutes after – they forced another penalty. But Mark Banayi, one of the heroes of Szolnok’s victory, saved a shot from Denes Varga. Ferencvaros had one more penalty shot with 19 seconds to go. This time, Daniil Merkulov made no mistake, he hit the back of the net for 10:11, but it was too late. In the remaining time, Szolnok kept the ball and the win.
