After a draw against Honved last week, OSC resumed its winning streak and collected three points beating BVSC in the first match of the round. The hosts didn’t wait until the final quarter to secure a win. After a 5:1 first quarter, OSC went to 6:1 early in the second period. BVSC reduced the gap to two in the 14th minute (5:8). OSC responded with three straight goals to take an 11:5 lead. They even had a 16:8 lead, but BVSC scored the last three goals in the game for consolation.

Honved defeated Szeged and remained in sixth place. Only two points separated the opponents before the 12th round, and a huge fight was predicted, but Honved quickly put an end to the uncertainty. The visitors dominated the first half. Already in the 13th minute, the Budapest-based, led by Balint Kiss, had a 6:0 lead. Szeged’s first goal came in the 18th minute (1:6), but the hosts weren’t able to come back. Honved controlled the match. In the fourth quarter, the visitors stretched the margin to seven (9:2 and 10:3). Szeged only reduced the gap in the final three minutes.

Eger broke Szentes in the last 10 minutes. The game was an even contest until 10:10. Eger scored two goals in the last two and a half minutes of the third period and built a 12:10 lead before the final period. The hosts halved the deficit twice (11:12 and 12:13), but Eger didn’t let them go further and recorded a 15:12 win with six goals from Marton Magyar and five from Nikola Murisic.

The most exciting match of the day was the encounter Kaposvar and UVSE, which ended in a 12:12 draw. UVSE started excellently and earned an early 5:1 lead. But, Kaposvar responded with a 5:0 rush and went in front (6:5). From that point on, the lead was constantly changing the side. UVSE led 12:11 before the final minute, but Kaposvar scored an equalizer with 37 seconds remaining on the clock, and UVSE failed to record the third win in a row.
