The second half of the regular season in Hungary started with the games of the 14th round.
The matches were played within six days. The round started on Friday and was completed on Wednesday.

Ferencvaros ran over Kaposvar in the first match of the round, played on Friday. Already in the 18th minute, “Fradi” had a double-digit lead (15:5). In the remaining time, it stretched the margin to 12 (22:10).
On Saturday, the other Hungarian club in the Champions League OSC beat Szeged 16:8. OSC was supposed to host Spandau 04 in the Champions League this evening, but the match has been forfeited (OSC – Spandau 0:10), due to COVID cases at OSC.
Title-holder Szolnok, led by Danial Angyal (5 goals), beat Debrecen with ease.
Vasas’ defense worked perfectly in a 10:5 victory over PVSK Pecs. Before the match, the club paid tribute to Jano Mehes, the club’s director, who passed away suddenly on December 31.
BVSC opened the match against Szentes with a 4:1 lead. The visitors equalized early in the second period (4:4). Still, the hosts retook control. They answered with a 5:1 series to earn a 9:5 advantage (18th minute), which was crucial for the outcome.
The duel between UVSE and Eger was quite exciting. The young team of UVSE recorded a win thanks to an astonishing third quarter. UVSE had a 2:1 lead after the first break. Eger equalized at 2:2 in the 10th minute. But, it turned out that it was the only goal in the second quarter. UVSE needed less than three minutes of play in the third period to build a 5:2 lead. After three consecutive goals b UVSE, Eger’s Radli found the ne for 3:5. Still, UVSE went to 7:3 before the last break, and Eger couldn’t come back.
